About Me

I am an animal loving “misfit” who has adored all the earth’s creatures since a child. I say misfit because I concluded long ago that my thought process landed me squarely on the outliers of what is accepted as gospel truth by societal preconceptions. My heart has always belonged to the animal kingdom. There sadly seems to be a void in modern society that precludes a natural curiosity for dissecting ideas and “truths” and examining them to see if what you have been taught is indeed correct. From cradle to grave, we are told what to think, without questioning. 

Always willing to learn and prosper within this journey, I strive to transform mistakes into refined knowledge and wisdom. I wish to share my thoughts with others on this journey of life and learning. Experience has illustrated to me, no matter what the subject matter may be, if a person addresses a topic from a different perspective, you will be met with resistance and often ridicule. I have always maintained a firm stance that animals have thoughts and feelings just as humans. My interactions with them have proven this assertion.  If animals are treated with respect and kindness and if you open your heart and mind to them, the reward you will receive is priceless. Our furry family members give so much! 

No matter where I go, home is where the animals reside. This blog will be an outlet to weave together the explanation of consciousness and our connection with the earth’s animal inhabitants.  On this website, you will find my personal blog with information on animal care and musings about my personal experiences with the animal kingdom, such as horses and dogs.                        

I strive to give people the opportunity of looking at this subject from a different angle. This is a forum where I shall share my thoughts and I hope to hear yours! My wish is that we all grow together, and may my written words find those who need them. I truly desire to connect humans and animals.
